Remote design: user testing for Jstor
Yes, I’m a nerd: I’m a fan of JStor on facebook. It’s paid off, however, as they’ve got an active and vocal interface development group. Check out their latest testing and learn a thing or two about user testing (as well as how to confuse testers!):
Current Activities
We’re currently conducting quick exercises to get feedback on some page designs. There are two different activities: 5 Second Surveys and 5 Minute Surveys. We appreciate your time and interest.
5 Minute Surveys
These activities will show you a picture and ask you to click on parts of the picture in order to answer questions. When you’ve completed the survey, we would really appreciate it if you could answer 2 more questions. You will be automatically directed to our survey tool.

5 Second Surveys
These activities will take 5 to 10 seconds for each link. You’ll be shown a picture for 5 seconds, and asked one of two things: list what you remember about the page or click on elements of that page that are important to you. These activities are fun and fast!
